These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Thirsk Handyman. By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotations are based on the information available at the time. If additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

3. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept payment by bank transfer or other agreed payment methods.

4. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

We reserve the right to charge for appointments cancelled at short notice where significant time or materials have already been committed.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers should ensure that the work area is reasonably accessible and that any valuable or fragile items are removed where appropriate.

If parking restrictions or access issues apply, please let us know before the appointment.

6. Materials

Materials supplied by Thirsk Handyman remain our property until paid for in full.

Where customers provide their own materials, we cannot accept responsibility for faults caused by defective or unsuitable products.

7. Workmanship

We take pride in delivering quality workmanship and will rectify any genuine workmanship issues reported within a reasonable period following completion.

This does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or issues arising from materials supplied by the customer.

8. Liability

While every care is taken during our work, our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
